Dorian Tide is a reggae-inspired band from Murrieta, California. They got their start as a band-for-hire, with residencies at several wineries in Temecula’s famous Wine Country. The band soon began writing and recording original music, which captured the relaxed, beach-friendly sound that kept them busy on the cover circuit. This original music was focused on preserving the reggae influence that the band was built on, while introducing thoughtful melodies, seldom-used chord movements, and rhythmic elements from all over the world. The result is a fresh take on modern California Reggae that is harmonically intriguing, tight, and alive!
